Which shots? Which shots? So after some brief deliberation, I have decided which shots to bother polishing up, and which to leave behind. Sorry Mr Cat, all your shots have been dropped. Not to worry though, I have some ideas for a shot just for you very soon. For now, both ogre shots and the dragon fight will be getting some attention in the coming weeks- stay tuned.

Well, in a few days Class 2 of Animation Mentor's Animals and Creatures Masterclass will be officially complete. That was a crazy ride, super intense, but Awesome! I feel like I learned a TON and am ready for more! So here's my progress reel for this class.

Definitely going to be spending the next couple weeks polishing up some of these shots to incorporate the final rounds of notes on them etc. Also, to make them nice and shiny for my reel. Updates soon!

Yeah, so this class is flying by even faster than the last. It is week 9 already, and wow. This class is very intense, still learning a TON, and I'm going to be finished before I know it. Updates soon- probably once the term is over.

Advanced Creature Production Week 1!

Today is the day! Class 2 of AnimationMentor's Animals and Creatures Masterclass, Advanced Creature Production, has begun! And already there is a ton of work to do. This is going to be intense but AWESOME!!! Starting right out of the gate with a vanilla flight. Yes, you read that right. :)

Oh! And my mentor for this term is Erik Morgansen! Even more AWESOME!!!

Well that, as they say, is that. Class 1 of AM's Animals and Creatures Masterclass is complete! I still have alot of work to do to incorporate final revisions on some shots for sure, but not too too bad overall. Really feel like I learned a ton though, and that was the idea!! So as rough as this is, here's the progress reel from this class.

No laughing please. Remember that this is a learning experience. Newest shots first.

Week 8

Wow this class is going by so fast. So I'm undecided now as to whether to fix up my first shots from this class or just move on. Leaning towards the later. I am currently doing the rough blocking for the 4th and final shot for Class 1 of the Animals and Creatures Masterclass. Really loving all of this! So much fun! Very challenging! Learning a ton! Shot updates during break I'm thinking...?

So I just realized that it's Week 5 already. Wow, that went fast. So this week I will be finishing up a second shot for this class and doing the planning for a third. I will try to get to the revisions for the first two soon so I can show them to you...

Oh, and by the way...this class is AWESOME! Crazy challenging, yes...but Awesome!!!
